We provide outpatient and diagnostic services in Romagna (Faenza, Ravenna, Castrocaro Terme), with specific attention to possible links between ocular symptoms and systemic conditions. When needed, we work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care, integrating nutrition and natural medicine approaches (such as clinical nutraceuticals) when appropriate, always strictly within the boundaries of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM).
Dr Alberto Lanfernini
Provides outpatient and diagnostic services in the Faenza and Ravenna areas. His clinical focus includes prevention, lifestyle, and the use of natural medicine and metabolic support (“mitochondrial gateway”) when appropriate, paying specific attention to the gut-eye axis and ocular surface. He is a member of the Healthy Longevity Medicine Society (HLMS).
Dr Annalisa Moscariello
Experience in paediatric ophthalmology and the follow-up of inflammatory ocular conditions. When appropriate, she integrates clinical nutrition, lifestyle hygiene, and prevention into the care pathway, with particular dedication to recurrent and complex cases. She is a member of the Healthy Longevity Medicine Society (HLMS).
Ophthalmology, general health factors and multidisciplinary care
When an eye problem is recurrent or “resistant”, the assessment may extend beyond the local district to include systemic co-factors (silent inflammation, diet, microbiota, sleep disorders, stress).
